Thank you firstly for visiting my site and for inquiring about a custom illustration done by me!
Below is what I ask of anyone interested.
Photographs
E-mail me at info@studio-legohead.com with some good quality pictures of your lovely four legged friends, portrait or profile are great.
The only reason I say this, is sometimes in the past I have been sent images where the canine or feline in question has been either completely blurry, or at a very funny angle, which makes it hard to capture a good likeness. Which is what I intend to do.
Images at eye level are best, as the perspective then is always correct.
Biog
I like to hear a bit about your canine/feline friends personality, that also helps me to capture and imagine what their characteristics might be like. ?If you would like your friend wearing a favourite hat, bow tie, jewellery etc, then any info regarding that is also greatly received. The more personal they have, the better.

Price and Size
The custom illustrations start at:
$150 for an 8 x 11 inch portrait without background, and with a background they are $190
$230 for an 11 x 16 inch portrait without background and with background they are $260
Postage and Packaging
All portraits are sent via a courier service. This is insured and traceable and quick. it normally takes between 3-5 working days to arrive to you.
I use a courier as I find it fast and reassuring for myself and you, the customer, to be able to trace your package and that it arrives in a reasonable time period.
This cost is $35 outside of the UK, in the UK it is $20.
Your portrait will be mounted on a backing card and packaged between 2 pieces of thick board to prevent damage, bubble wrapped and gift wrapped with custom paper.
More Than One Canine Or Feline In A Portrait
This will be discussed via e-mail to determine the size and quantity of models in the portrait.
About the Portraits
All my portraits are pen and ink, but do resemble water-colour, as they are often mistaken for!!
They are produced on archival paper unless otherwise discussed with me.
